The First meeting with my guest family in Israël

We took off with the car of Manar’s aunt and uncle from Haïfa. We would go to the village Manar lives in, Bu'eine. Her uncle told me about the cities around Haïfa like Nazareth, Tu’ran and Kafar Kana.

When we arrived in the village the whole family was there to welcome me in their village. We changed clothes I could put my bags in Manar’s room and put everything in closets. We had dinner, but I didn’t know anything about the Israelian food. It was realy delicious.

After that Manar and her parents asked me if I like sports, we went for a long walk in Al Batuv, a valley nearby the village.

After that we came back ad changed our clothes (again). We would go to a wedding party . I had heard a lot about these parties, so I was very enthusiastic to go! First we went to a party where all the women were. There I’ve got a present wit Henna. Afterwards we went to the wedding party itself. The bride was dressed very beautiful, it was a purple dress with lots of diamonds on it. She danced wtith her husband. It’s totally different than in Belgium, here they don’t move a lot, but they make beautiful moves with their hands, in Belgium we just freak out. I danced too, but I’m not as elegant as most of the girls there. We got sweet things to eat and we’ve got drinks. After the dance and the eating they started to make a stage in the middle of the street with fake grass on it. The husband was still on the chair, the woman was gone, she went to change her dress. When the Music started, I knew the song!, she appeared. She wore a white dress now. They made her name in Arabic, to set it on fire after the last dance. She danced with two sticks, with an umbrella and with her husband and after that, they lightened her name. Afterwards we could dance again. We went home at 23.30.

After a delicious tea I was so tired, I needed to go to sleep.
